 Safety Precautions & Warnings

  


                               Gasoline & Gasoline Vapor

    1. Gasoline vapors are highly flammable and explosive.

    2. Always have a dry chemical Class B fire extinguisher when servicing or cleaning the fuel system.

    3. Do not store or work with gasoline or gasoline vapors near open flame or ignition sources.

    4. Only clean or service the fuel in a well ventilated area with a adequate exhaust ventilation.

    5. Never drain or store gasoline in an open container.

    6. Only Drain or store gasoline in an approved container.

    7. Immediately clean up any fuel spills.

    8. Place shop towels in the designated bin to prevent any fire hazards.

    9. Always wear protective clothing and gloves when handling gasoline fuel system cleaners.

   11. Always wash hands and exposed arears of the skin with soup and water after handling gasoline.

   12.Always place fuel and solvent resistant fender covers and other protection over painted surfaces to prevent damage during     maintenance activities.

   13. Avoid breathing gasoline vapors for a prolonged period of time.

   14. Use fuel resistant thread sealant on connections when required.
